The Churchill High School Orchestra program is excited to work with students from Castle Hills, Harmony Hills, Huebner, Larkspur, and Oak Meadow Elementary Schools through our 5th Grade String Program. Once a week, these young musicians come to the Churchill Orchestra Room to begin learning a string instrument and experience the fun of making music together.
We are fortunate to partner with outstanding middle school directors, including Miss Solano and Miss Espino from Eisenhower Middle School and Mr. Infante from Jackson Middle School. Together, we help students take their first steps into the world of orchestra and prepare them for future success in middle school and beyond.
One of the highlights of the year is our annual Evening with Strings concert, where our 5th grade students perform alongside middle school and high school orchestra students. It’s a special opportunity for them to see what lies ahead and become part of a larger orchestra family from the very beginning.
