CHURCHILL ORCHESTRA BOOSTER ASSOCIATION 2026-2027
Welcome to our new and our returning WC Orchestra Families! The Churchill Orchestra Booster Association (COBA) is Churchill Orchestra's Booster group. We support all Orchestra students and the Orchestra program at Churchill. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our orchestra students. Our job is simply to fill the gap between what the school can do for our students and program and what is needed.

COBA provides volunteer help and raises funds for our Orchestra Program.

We do this by:

Membership to COBA

Your “membership” in COBA means that you are aligning yourself with other parents in your support of the Orchestra program at Churchill. Your membership dollars go towards the COBA general fund and are used to help fund items for the Orchestra program.

Dinner Theater

An incredibly fun, energetic night where the Orchestra students have the opportunity to demonstrate their many talents and personalities. Think; High School Talent Show meets Dinner, Desserts, and Friends! There is a Silent Auction where all money raised goes to Senior Scholarships for WC Orchestra Students. Last year we awarded $10,000 in scholarships to our graduating seniors!

COBA Donations & Merchandise

We sell merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, etc.) and accept donations at many of the Orchestra concerts throughout the year. We also take donations year-round both on-line and through Amazon Smile.

How COBA may benefit your orchestra student:
COBA funds have been used to:
o Purchase harp strings
o Buy uniforms and garments bags
o Annually have uniforms dry-cleaned
o Buy microphone clips and tuners
o Purchase a portable sound system
o Rental of Cellos for the trip to Austria last year
o Pay for sectional coaching throughout the year
o Trophies and Plaques
o $11,000 in scholarships ($10,000 for seniors, $1,000 for summer programs)
o Director requests
