Scholarship Committee (Stephanie Droddy, Pamela Klinger, Anjali Joshi, Vanessa Gil, Gabriel Hernandez, Mr. T and Mr. Norton) will meet May 8th 2019. Vicky Torres will bring Pizza and soda. 6 scholarships will be awarded this year.
Discussion about changing requirements to qualify for Pamela Sue Elizondo Scholarship, further discussion will be needed.
COBA was able to return unused costumes. Some shipping cost was charged. Refund was $135.86.
Dude Ranch was a success, positive feedback from Mr. T
Banquet: Alfred Montoya’s mom has agreed to help with decorations, possible flowers. Student officers will set up tables (4:30 pm) . Mrs. Fuhrmann will send up a Sign-up Genius for desserts.
Envelopes to pre-order / prepay T-shirts, Garment Bags. Discussed to have them distributed after Tobin Center Event.
We couldn’t get a year book for Orchestra this year. Mrs. Kingler offered to take a look at past years and possibly help with next year’s book.
Orchestra needs: Printers. A parent has offered to buy Mr. T and Mr. Norton new printers. Mr. T will provide info on what printer model would be most useful. Shelves for Storage room: Mrs. O’Dwyer and Mrs. Fuhrmann will get measurements. Cello & Base racks: Mr. T and Mr. Armstrong will be building during the summer ($400-$500 approx). 60” monitor and installation for foyer ( $1,200 approx) . Heather Elizondo will check into pricing for TV.

Discussion about next year’s fundraising. ( HEB cards, Yankee Candle, Butter Braid, etc) Mrs. McKneely will be passing the torch to Ms. Gil, but she will still support and counsel when needed. COBA will stop selling Silver Charms.
New York Trip: discuss possible days of travel, prices, places to be visited. Kids will perform at Carnegie Hall.
