2.Minutes from last meeting a.Will be posted on website 3.Financial Report a.Jessica unable to attend Zoom meeting, financials will be posted on website as soon as they are available 4.COBA Officers for 2020/2021 a.Fundraising – Vanessa Gil has volunteered to help and hopefully get a Freshman parent involved, Arami Aquino will take over as COBA treasurer from Jessica Vacca on 7/1/2020. 5.COBA Signs a.Signs arrived, Blanco sign, dinner theatre door sign, Concert etiquette signs for entry doors Heather Elizondo to make add’l etiquette signs – small ones 6.Orchestra Yearbook a.Mr. T sent to final pdf to share with students i.Possible next year not to ask for advertising adds, perhaps well wisher adds recommended by Pam Klinger 7.COBA Scholarship Committee Meeting i.Student T-shirts 2020/2021 – sent letter to middle school teachers requesting forward to future Charger students. Additional information-joining COBA,, etc. ii.Received one 8th grade parent sign up for COBA 8.Orchestra Banquet- Anne Marie’s i.Ruben at Anne Marie’s requested they will keep deposit apply to next year’s banquet ii.$600 deposit applied to May 22, 2021 9.New Business a.Uniform Collections -- All but 11 uniforms returned b.Inventory and Repairs -- All senior instruments returned c.Face mask fundraising – thoughts? Cost $5 - $7 each, will they be required for school? One to two week turn around, table topic until further information is available 10.Director’s Minute a.Scholarship committee Thursday, May 14th zoom meeting b.Graduation i.June 1 – June 5 ii.Mr. T will hand out awards, as well as the outstanding senior awards c.Next year’s calendar emailed - Pre-UIL concert pushed back one week Future COBA Meetings: August 3, 2020 Important Dates:
