CHURCHILL ORCHESTRA BOOSTER ASSOCIATION SEPTEMBER 9, 2019 MEETING MINUTES
Call to Order 6:34 pm

1. COBA minutes from last meeting post on website:  www.churchillorchestra.org
2. Treasurer's Report will be posted on website.
3. Pool Party great success, about 60 to 65 students, thanks to all the adults who help
4. COBA
   1. Membership @ 50% thus far, join COBA, cost $25.00
   2. Dinner Theater scheduled October 5, 2019, buy your tickets now on the website
   3. Silent Auction items needed, proceeds are for the Pamela Elizondo scholarship fund
   4. “The Shop” @ Www.churchillorchestra.org
   5. Need a new treasurer for 2020/2021 school year, Jessica Vacca current treasurer—great opportunity for any freshman parent
   6. Purchase of Red Bird costume used in Peter and the Wolf performance, cost less than $400.
   7. Preordering of t-shirts in May was a great success, about 80% of students have paid for t-shirts.  Cost for set of t-shirts is $20.00.  Payments can be made on the website “The Shop” or send check made out to “COBA” in envelope placed in Red box.  Remember to write t-shirt size and students name
5. Fundraisers are optional, all profits are for the student
   1. ESF Coupon Cards $20 each – 40% profit
      1. ESF cards or money must be returned Monday, September 16 to Ms. Madrigal
         
   2. Yankee Candle – 40% profit
      1. Orders must be submitted by September 30, 2019
         ii.Online orders continue
         
   3. Butter Braid Pastries – 40% profit
      1. Orders begin October 7
         
   4. Simply Sheets – 40% profit
      1. Orders begin November 1
         
   5. HEB Gift Cards – 4% donation from HEB
      1. Ongoing throughout the year
